Polperro is an enchanting place on the south coast of Cornwall. Wander through narrow lanes of small cottages that once belonged to fishermen and the occasional smuggler; stop off and have an ice cream, pasty, cream tea or crab sandwich at the many cafes and pubs sprinkled throughout. Enjoy the many and varied views of the historic harbour and out to sea. Bathe on the beach at low tide, swim in Chapel Pool, explore the coastal path towards Talland Bay and Lansallos or take a boat excursion along the coast.

Visit the numerous shops in the village, the art galleries, the model village and the Heritage Museum of Fishing and Smuggling.

As visitors find out this is a great place to visit at any time of the year; the changing seasons bring different aspects to the village and the sea which have been enjoyed by and inspired some famous artists, writers and photographers over the past two centuries.
